About ProfitPath

ProfitPath is an analytics platform for e-commerce merchants. We help Amazon sellers identify profitable products, monitor prices in real time, and scale data-driven across European marketplaces. Our backend is built on Go microservices, PostgreSQL, Redis, and various worker systems for data processing at scale. The frontend is Next.js/TypeScript.

The Role

You work directly with the CTO and take ownership of your own modules and services — from architecture to deployment. The scope is broad: new features, optimizing existing systems, scaling. You have a say in what gets prioritized. Long-term, there's a clear path to an engineering lead role.

What We Expect

• 3+ years of Go in production — concurrency, worker patterns, service architecture
• PostgreSQL — schema design, query optimization
• REST API design — JWT, OAuth, API keys, middleware
• Web scraping — TLS fingerprinting, proxy management, anti-bot strategies
• Git, CI/CD, multi-repo workflows

Nice to Have

• Kafka or event streaming
• ClickHouse or analytics databases
• Ops fundamentals — Grafana, monitoring, Linux
• E-commerce / Amazon FBA domain knowledge
• Basic Next.js/TypeScript knowledge
